4/29 Update
On Friday we reached our goal to committ to one exhibit idea. We decided on doing a wind garden where we would explore the different shapes of wind turbines and combine that with the idea of wind sculptures. The next goal that we have is to supplement the wind garden with something more interactive.. we haven't decided what to do yet though.

I think the team GOAL is to "educate people about wind energy, its potential and benefits as a renewable source of domestic energy" or something similar.
ReplyDeleteOf all the ideas discussed, the "wind garden" seemed the most vague, or at least accounts for a third of the 3-stage concept: 1) the nature, sources of, harnessing, and storage of wind [bottle storage?]; 2) The mechanical technologies of converting wind to electricity (turbines and humdinger display [farm?]}; and 3) the domestic power generation mix of PG&E from all renewable energy sources: wind turbine farms, solar panels, geothermal, etc. [wind turbine that powers lights in a small house, or other visual feedback display].
